Kubota BX25D - 3 cyl diesel, hydrostatic 4 wheel drive, 4 ft. loader bucket, 60 inch mower and 12 inch backhoe.
2 acres is a lot of yard to mow. I went for the tractor with the backhoe because you can't add them on later, and I always wanted a backhoe to play with. There were some shrubs on one side of the house that were more like trees and they needed to be removed. The backhoe was the perfect tool.
I started on the first bush and discovered that there was a gas service pipe right behind it. I had to be VERY careful with the bucket to not knock it into the gas line. Since that was the first time I had ever operated a backhoe, it took 2 hours to get the one stump dug up. I had to use an axe to hack away at some of the roots to get it out. I did the other four bushes the following weekend and it only took 3 hours for all of them. I think I'm starting to get the hang of the hoe now. I'll have to dig a big hole to bury all the stumps and trimmings when the ground thaws out.
